‘Fast & Furious’ Director: Production Will Go On After Paul Walker’s Death

The making of ‘Fast & Furious 7′ has hit a standstill as the cast and crew struggle to cope with Paul’s death, but in an interview on Dec. 6, the movie’s director assured fans that the project was NOT being abandoned.

It’s completely understandable that the making of Fast & Furious 7 was shut down in the wake of Paul Walker‘s sudden death. But if the entire movie were scrapped, it’d just add more negativity to Paul’s already tragic end. Thankfully, the movie’s director James Wan put on a strong face on Dec. 6 and affirmed that production will go on.

James Wan: ‘Fast & Furious 7′ Will Go On

James first reiterated that everyone involved with the Fast movies is just heartbroken by Paul’s passing. “They’re pretty sad and very somber, but we are dealing with it,” the director told TMZ.
Then, when James was asked if production on the upcoming movie would continue, he resolutely stated, “Yes,” multiple times.
He didn’t give any indication on how he and the producers and writers plan on dealing with Paul’s death in the movie, but it’s clear that their options are limited. Paul was in the middle of filming scenes when his life was tragically taken, so the makers of Fast could either write his death into the existing plot, or scrap the entire story and start fresh. Personally, we just hope they find a way to truly honor Paul in the movie.

‘Fast & Furious 7′ Production Halted

James’ positive show of solidarity comes just two days after Universal Pictures announced that production on Fast & Furious 7 was being put on hold. They made the announcement in a somber statement:
Right now, all of us at Universal are dedicated to providing support to Paul’s immediate family and our extended Fast & Furious family of cast, crew and filmmakers. At this time we feel it is our responsibility to shut down production on Fast & Furious 7 for a period of time so we can assess all options available to move forward with the franchise.
We can’t imagine the Fast movies without Paul, but scrapping the seventh installment wouldn’t be the right decision — it wouldn’t be keeping with Paul’s spirit and passion. If production does go on, at least the filmmakers will be able to make sure the franchise’s fans remember Paul in the right light.
What do you think, HollywoodLifers? Is it good that Fast & Furious 7 is still going to be made?

MAAJABU 10 YA KIFO CHA NELSON MANDELA

$

Work is still ongoing for Mr Mandela's funeral in Qunu and a dome is being erected next to his house (left)

QUNU; KIJIJI KITAKACHOLNDWA KULIKO VYOTE DUNIANI

WENYEJI WAHAMA, WAGENI WAMILIKI NYUMBA QUNU

UINGEREZA YAAGIZA BALOZI ZOTE KUSHUSHA NUSU MLINGOTI

Naomi's tears for Mandela: Supermodel breaks down after seeing ex-president's coffin as thousands of mourners line streets to see it driven to lie in state in the former home of apartheid

  • Body is transported to lie in state at Union Buildings, the seat of government in South Africa's capital Pretoria
  • It is the place where Mandela ruled the country after unseating the apartheid regime which was based there
  • South Africans waited from the early hours to honour celebrated leader and lined the streets for procession
  • Naomi Campbell, Bono, Jacob Zuma and Mandela's wives Winnie and Graca were among the mourners today
  • Giant arena in his home town of Qunu is being built to stage the biggest funeral in South Africa's history
Supermodel Naomi Campbell today wept as she joined mourners viewing Nelson Mandela's casket as the great former president of South Africa lies in state in the country's capital Pretoria.
Thousands lined the streets as a hearse drove the coffin, wrapped in a South African flag, from a hospital to the government's Union Buildings to lie in state for three days.
This morning Mandela's grandson Mandla visited the open casket of his grandfather, followed by his second wife Winnie Madikizela-Mandela and third wife Graca Machel, as well as South Africa's current president Jacob Zuma.
U2 singer Bono was another visitor to the site, as well as world leaders such as Sri Lanka's Mahinda Rajapaksa and South African dictator Robert Mugabe. F.W. de Klerk, Mandela's deputy, also paid tribute to the global icon.

Some visitors made the sign of the cross, while others simply spent a few moments gazing at Mandela's face through a glass plane as four junior naval officers stood watch in white uniforms.
Some appeared lost in the presence of the great leader's body. South Sudan's president Salva Kiir Mayardit stood for a moment, transfixed, before removing his trademark black cowboy hat and crossing himself.

Mr Mandela's remains will be moved daily between the Military Hospital on the outskirts of Pretoria to the Union Buildings.
It was there that he assumed the first black presidency of South Africa in 1994, holding court in the same rooms once occupied by his white oppressors.

'I just hope I won't cry,' said Paul Letageng, an employee at the building, 'It's amazing to think that 19 years ago he was inaugurated there, and now he's lying there. If he was not here we would not have had peace in South Africa.'

One onlooker told Sky News: 'We loved that man and he fought for us. He fought for us to be here so Viva Mandela and let him rest in peace.'
'This a significant moment for me and my children,' said 48-year-old teacher Thapelo Dlamini, who had been on waiting on the street for two hours with his two children.
Army helicopters had been circling overhead but then a sudden quiet fell over the amphitheatre as the hearse arrived.

Eight warrant officers representing the various services and divisions of the South African National Defense Force carried the casket, led by a military chaplain in a purple stole. The officers set down the coffin and removed the flag.
Mr Mandela will be buried on Sunday in Qunu, his ancestral home in the Eastern Cape province, where a giant arena is already being built nearby.
A stone's throw from the home where the former ANC leader grew up, it will stage the biggest funeral in South Africa’s history.
Prince Charles will be among the dignitaries travelling to the remote rural location for the service.

Meanwhile a public memorial service in London today will remember the life of the anti-apartheid leader.
The service will be held at St Martin-in-the-Fields in Trafalgar Square from 10.30am at the request of the South African High Commission, feet away from the church.
The two share strong links and were the scene of freedom vigils for Mr Mandela during his incarceration.
Speaking at the service will be Sir Sydney Kentridge QC and Lord Joffe of Lidington, who both represented Mr Mandela at his treason trials, and campaigner and African National Congress veteran Mama Thembi Nobhadula.
Thousands of people are expected to pay their respects to their former leader over the next few days.

Barack Obama yesterday led tributes to Mr Mandela as world leaders joined thousands of people at a memorial service in the rain-soaked FNB Stadium in Soweto, where the former South African president made his final frail appearance during the 2010 World Cup.
The US president spoke of the 'heroic' life of the South African leader, describing him as the 'last great liberator of the 20th century' and compared his actions to those of Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln and US civil rights leader Martin Luther King.
But he also warned against viewing Mr Mandela as detached from normal life.
'He was not a bust made of marble, he was a man made of flesh and blood,' Mr Obama told the crowds.

'It was precisely because he could admit to imperfection, because he was so full of good humour, even mischief despite the heavy burdens that he carried, that we loved him so,' he added.
Mr Obama's speech came after he shook hands in the stadium with Cuban president Raul Castro, the first such greeting in public involving a president of the US since the Cuban revolution.
The former US president Bill Clinton reportedly shook hands in private with Raul's brother Fidel behind closed doors at a UN lunch in 2000.
During the service in the two-thirds-filled stadium, boos were heard for the current South African president Jacob Zuma and the former US president George W Bush. But there were cheers for Mr Obama and for Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe.

Those attending included Prime Minister David Cameron and his three surviving predecessors, Sir John Major, Tony Blair and Gordon Brown.
Also seen arriving at the service were supermodel Naomi Campbell, rock star Bono, former South African president FW De Klerk, Mr Clinton and his wife, ex-US secretary of state Hillary, former French president Nicolas Sarkozy and the current president Francois Hollande.
Mr Mandela, described at one time as the world's most famous political prisoner, was released after 27 years in jail in 1990 and went on to become South Africa's first black president. He died last Thursday aged 95.
The service, marked by heavy rain, heard from Andrew Mlangeni, a former prisoner on Robben Island with Mr Mandela, who spoke of the 'outpouring of love' following his death.
'Madiba is looking down on us. There is no doubt he is smiling and he watches his beloved country, men and women, unite to celebrate his life and legacy,' he said.
UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon told the service: 'South Africa has lost a hero, we have lost a father and the world has lost a beloved friend and mentor.
'Nelson Mandela was more than one of the greatest leaders of our time, he was one of our greatest teachers. He taught by example, he sacrificed so much and was willing to give up everything for freedom, equality and justice.'

TAARIFA KWA VYOMBO VYA HABARI
11/12/2013
ALERT MSANDO
Kuna sababu mbili za msingi za kukata rufaa;
1. Utaratibu wa kuchukua hatua za nidhamu ulikiukwa.
2. Sababu za kuchukuliwa hatua hizo sio sahihi.
Utaratibu ambao unatakiwa kufuatwa kabla ya kumchukulia hatua za kinidhamu kiongozi kwa mujibu wa Katiba na Kanuni za Uendeshaji ni kama ifuatavyo;
Kanuni ya Uendeshaji 6.5.6 inasema;
Pia tunapenda ijulikane kwamba Kanuni ya Uendeshaji 6.5.2 (a), (b), (c) na (d) kama ilivyorekebiswa Januari 2013 inasema;
Kwa mujibu wa ibara ya 5.4.3 na 5.4.4 ya Katiba mwanachama yeyote hatachukuliwa hatua za kinidhamu ama kuonywa ama kuachishwa ama kufukuzwa uanachama bila kwanza;
Haya ni mapungufu ambayo kwa bahati nzuri Katiba na Kanuni za Uendeshaji zinatoa nafasi ya kurekebishwa kwa kutoa nafasi ya kukata rufaa. Na utaratibu ni huu hapa;
Ibara 6.3.6(e) ya Katiba ya Chama;
Kanuni za Uendeshaji zinatoa UTARATIBU ambao unatakiwa ufuatwe ili kiongozi aliyeadhibiwa aweze kutumia HAKI yake ya kukata rufani kwa maneno haya;
Kanuni ya 6.5.8 ya Kanuni za Uendeshaji;
Kanuni ya 6.5.9 ya Kanuni za Uendeshaji;
Kanuni ya 6.5.10 ya Kanuni za Uendeshaji;
Nawashukuru wote.

UMESHAGUNDUA ANACHOHITAJI MWENZI WAKO?

$
0
0

Hapa katika All About Love ni sehemu yako sahihi kukuza ufahamu wako.

Anataka kuona msimamo wako muda wote. Mwenye kujiamini na mawazo yasiyo na matege wala makengeza!  Usiyebadilika kama kinyonga!

UWE FITI!

GRACA MACHEL, WINNIE MANDELA HAKUNA BIFU

NAMBA 3 YAWAMALIZA VIGOGO NCHINI HUMO
Mpigania haki mwingine mkongwe, Oliver Tambo aliyezaliwa Oktoba 27, 1917 naye alifariki mwaka 1993 (Aprili 24).

The most exclusive flight in the world: Behind-the-scenes photos from Air Force One show the Obamas mingling with the Bushes and Hillary on journey to South Africa for Mandela's memorial

  • George and Laua Bush traveled to the Nelson Mandela memorial with the Obamas, Hillary Clinton, Eric Holder and advisors on Monday
  • Series of images show the Bushes and Obamas laughing together and looking over the former president's latest artwork on his iPad
  • Obama gave an emotional tribute to Mandela at the service but came under fire for posing for 'selfies' and shaking the Cuban president's hand

A series of intimate behind-the-scenes photos aboard Air Force One have revealed the moment George W. Bush proudly showed off his artwork to Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama - and they look impressed.
Other images reveal him sharing a joke with the president and casually chatting ahead of dinner as they flew to South Africa for Nelson Mandela's memorial service.
The luxury aircraft hosted a political reunion on Monday, as the two Presidents and three first ladies - Laura Bush, Michelle Obama and Hillary Clinton - were on board.
The Obamas retired to the President's office and regular cabin at the front of the plane while former Secretary of State Clinton was given free reign of the senior staff's cabin. Bush and his wife Laura were given the medical suite.

The former president has been perfecting his painting skills since leaving office, famously producing colorful images of horses, dogs and still life scenes after taking lessons from a local artist.
And during the long flight to South Africa, he took the opportunity to show the country's leading ladies his latest work on his iPad.
He is pictured with Michelle Obama, Hillary Clinton, Senior Advisor Valerie Jarrett, National Security Advisor Susan E. Rice, Attorney General Eric Holder and former First Lady Laura Bush.

Rice looks particularly impressed - gasping as he scrolls through the images - while Clinton grins and Holder leans over the table to get a closer look.
In the images taken by White House photographer Pete Souza, Obama is also pictured grinning alongside Bush as they board the plane for South Africa.
In a more serious photograph, the president is pictured editing his speech for the memorial with Deputy National Security Advisor Ben Rhodes.

Ahead of the journey, White House spokesman Jay Carney said the Obamas were looking forward to the political reunion.
'It's a very, I think, enjoyable experience certainly for the president and first lady,' he said. 'And they're both grateful to be able to have former president and first lady, former secretary of state on board.'
After landing, the Obamas were stuck in traffic and arrived at the memorial half an hour late - but were met with applause when they finally entered the stadium.
In his emotional tribute on Tuesday, Obama called the South African leader a 'giant of history'.
'To the people of South Africa - people of every race and walk of life - the world thanks you for sharing Nelson Mandela with us,' he said.

'His struggle was your struggle. His triumph was your triumph. Your dignity and hope found expression in his life, and your freedom, your democracy is his cherished legacy.'
He continued: 'Mandela taught us the power of action, but also ideas; the importance of reason and arguments; the need to study not only those you agree with, but those who you don't.'
He was also pictured sharing his condolences with Mandela's widow Graca Machel following the speech.
But the trip didn't go without its hitches; Obama was pictured shaking the hand of Cuban President Raul Castro at the service - sparking anger that he warmly greeted a 'murderer'.
Members of Congress, including Florida Republican Senator and son of Cuban immigrants Marco Rubio, expressed their anger on Tuesday.

'If the president was going to shake his hand, he should have asked him about those basic freedoms Mandela was associated with that are denied in Cuba,' Rubio said.
Obama also sparked annoyance when he posed for a 'selfie' photograph with British Prime Minister David Cameron and Danish leader Helle Thorning-Schmidt.
Some viewers criticized the pose, calling it inappropriate behavior at an event to remember the life of the anti-apartheid hero, who died last week aged 95.
As the trio posed for the snap, Michelle sat alongside her husband looking somewhat stony faced.
Following the service, the Obamas caught up with former President Bill Clinton and his daughter Chelsea, as well as U2 singer Bono, before heading back to Air Force One.
